Volunteers buzzing about making Blackmore Vale hive of activity for bees
North Dorset’s heritage Bere Marsh Farm is set to become the centrepiece of a groundbreaking new project which aims to make the Blackmore Vale a magnet for bees.
Organisations including gardening clubs, schools, parish councils and allotment holders will be invited to take part.
The idea involves the creation of a flower-shaped network of bee friendly corridors throughout the area known as ‘BeeWayzz.’
