Club America and Mexico defender Janelly Farias explains how speaking up on social issues has led people in her home country to compare her to USA star Megan Rapinoe. The comparisons were meant as an insult but she takes them as a compliment.

Farias 鈥� who is LGBTQ+ - also tells us her family didn鈥檛 want her to be a footballer and that they rejected her when she got her first girlfriend. They鈥檝e since reunited and she鈥檚 targeting playing for Mexico at the 2023 World Cup.
