Emma and John Anderton from Leicester were left ‘terrified’ after their daughter Evelyn became seriously unwell.

Rushed off to hospital, the almost two-year-old, ended up being diagnosed with a condition called Brugada syndrome. It affects the electrical signals in the heart. Now Evelyn has had a defibrillator fitted and will be on lifelong medication.

Emma and John are now raising money to fund more research to help people with heart conditions.
