Local motorcyclist shares moment he crashes his bike at ‘over 100mph’ at road racing event
A motorcyclist from East Goscote, Leicestershire has shared the moment he crashed his bike at ‘over 100mph’ in a road racing event last year.
Ben Shuttlewood had entered, ‘England’s only road racing circuit’, the Oliver's Mount Racing event in Scarborough following the first lockdown, but he was involved in a high-speed collision with another bike which resulted in him tumbling into a wall and breaking his leg.
After five operations, the keen racer is hoping to be back on the track by the end of the year, but he will have to see if he needs his bike adapting to his injury.
