To mark 1 year since the first lockdown, we have asked all London councils to nominate a Make a Difference hero - someone who has gone above and beyond to help the local community in this difficult time. Merton's hero is Zaka Dada. Last year, at the age of just 18, Zak was instrumental in setting up Merton Covid-19 Mutual Aid Group. The group has thousands of members and has made hundreds of food and prescription deliveries across the borough.
