Why are people flocking to Yemen?
Yemen鈥檚 at war, and the situation is bad: the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, by some accounts. So, why exactly are thousands of African migrants travelling there?
Why travel to a war-torn country?
Yemen鈥檚 been going through a nasty civil war for most of the last decade.
The situation鈥檚 got so bad, aid agencies have described it as the 鈥渨orld鈥檚 worst humanitarian crisis鈥�.
But despite all this, several thousands of East Africans are still travelling there.
They risk their lives crossing the Red Sea, only to face possible detention on arrival.
So, why are they making this dangerous journey? And is it really worth it?
