How crab spiders attract bees by reflecting ultraviolet light
Bees use sensors to detect ultraviolet patterns on petals, which guides them to the nectar. The UV camera shows how a crab spider reflects UV light, which makes her more conspicuous, and acts as a super signal that the bee cannot resist.
