The pregnancy dreams on hold
How does it feel to have your fertility treatment paused because of the pandemic? 40-year-old Sam Baldry began her IVF journey last March just before lockdown. But then everything was put on hold… indefinitely. With research from the University of Aberdeen suggesting that these delays are reducing the amount of births from women over 40 by almost a quarter, Sam talks to Kalpana and Nicola about how devastating the last year has been, and her hopes for starting a family going forward.
