Princess Latifa Al Maktoum, one of the daughters of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, says in smuggled videos that she's being held hostage since trying to flee in 2018.

The Royal family said "Her Highness is being cared for at home, supported by her family and medical professionals." The statement added that "she continues to improve and we are hopeful she will return to public life at the appropriate time."

Tiina Jauhiainen is Princess Latifa Al Maktoum's best friend and was with her when she was captured in international waters off the coast of Goa. She describes the latest in the campaign to get more information on her friend's situation.
