On 18 February 2021, Nasa鈥檚 Perseverance rover will attempt to land on Mars.

Katie Stack Morgan, who works at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, explains how the spacecraft will navigate hazards in the Jezero Crater, an area considered 鈥渢oo dangerous鈥� for previous rovers.
