The world鈥檚 first mobile airport for flying cars and drones due by end of year

Now imagine this concept, the world's smallest airport coming to a car park near you. Well the British city of Coventry will be the world's first to get one to service air taxis and delivery drones. The scheme is backed by the British government and the South Korean car maker, Hyundai.

The former car park will be transformed into an airport with a 14-metre diameter landing platform and runway. Due to be completed in November of this year, it has been designed with ultra-compact dimensions so it can be implemented in towns and cities to allow electric air taxis and drones to land and charge their batteries.

We spoke to the man behind the idea, Ricky Sandhu, founder of Urban Air Port.
