Oscars: Sudan's first ever entry
Almost two years after the overthrow of Omar al-Bashir, Sudan is taking steps to reintegrate into the world politically and also culturally. For the first time in its history, Sudan now has a submission for the Academy Awards. The film 鈥淵ou Will Die at Twenty鈥 will compete in the Best International Feature Film category. Its director is Amjad Abu Alala.
