Matthew McConaughey told the Headliners Podcast about missing his dad and how he was 'hurt' by his mum's craving for fame.

Matthew's dad, James Donald McConaughey died of a heart attack in 1992.

Speaking to 5 Live's Nihal Arthanayake about his mother, he said: "I had a couple of years where I very seldom talked to her... if I shared stuff with her she'd use it, it'd show up in the newspaper the next day."
