America's first black Roman Catholic cardinal

The move is symbolically significant in the Roman Catholic Church in America, where black people have been under-represented among the leadership. For more on this historic appointment 成人快手 Newsday spoke to Shannen Williams who is a historian of black Catholics and nuns.
