Meet the UK's American Football pioneer

Gerry Anderson is a key figure in the growth of American Football in the UK having played and developed the sport despite facing so many barriers to participation.

Gerry was named in the British Hall of Fame and after he finished playing, he helped bring the big NFL teams to London for the international series.

Gerry spoke to Caroline Barker about Black History Month and some of the cultural differences he encountered when American players came to play alongside him in the 1990s.
