'I've just been on campus and it's so dead'
After a tough first week back for university students who have moved around the country to their new accommodation, we've heard from one student about their experience.
Hundreds have been told to self-isolate for two weeks due to local outbreaks of Covid-19, lectures have been moved online at the last minute to limit social contact and the university experience of freedom is facing its biggest threat ever.
Alice Arnold is a master’s student at De Montfort University, it's also where she did her undergraduate degree.
She moved back to Leicester from Yorkshire ready for the new term last week and has been keeping a diary of her thoughts during her induction week.
