'The great Zambian novel you didn't know you were waiting for'
Zambian-born author Namwali Serpell has just received the Arthur C Clarke Award for her sci-fi novel, The Old Drift. The story mixes together science fiction, magical realism and historical fiction, and spans the lives of three generations. Namwali tells Alan Kasujja more about the book, and how current political events have influenced her thinking:
