Nobel laureate launches peace campaign in Liberia
Liberia has been witnessing a series of politically motivated violence and attacks between supporters of rival political parties, ahead of the senatorial election in December. Nobel Peace Prize winner and Liberian peace activist, Leymah Roberta Gbowee is concerned there is a risk of returning to the violent days of the past and she has launched an appeal for a violence-free elections campaign.
