The refugee helping others after Lesbos fire
Greece is sending three ships to help house thousands of migrants sleeping rough on the island of Lesbos after fire destroyed the overcrowded camp. Families have been sleeping on roads, in fields and car parks after fleeing Moria camp, where about 13,000 had been living in squalor.
Omid is an Afghan refugee who was living at the camp with his wife and four year old son before they all had to flee from the fire. He also works with MCAT – the Moria Coronavirus Awareness Team – which was set up by refugees at the camp.
