"There's no reason to think I can't continue successfully..." - Cornish chess grandmaster Michael Adams on his amazing career
It took look less than ten years for experts to realise that Truro's Michael Adams was a chess prodigy - and by the age of seventeen, he was a grandmaster.
Since then, he's won multiple British championships, reached Number 4 in the world rankings and come within touching distance of world titles as well. So how did he get his start in the sport, and how long does he think he’ll keep going?
Michael’s been speaking to ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Cornwall’s Jack Murley – including about whether he always knew he was talented at the game.
