Coronavirus: Swapping exam work for climate research
An 18-year-old student in the UK whose exams were cancelled because of the Covid-19 lockdown didn't have an extended summer holiday. Instead Harriet Forster spent several months analysing data on reductions in emissions. She was working alongside scientists, including her father, and the research was published in the journal Nature Climate Change.
