Mum has her first hair cut since February
The return to normality continues as Mum gets her hair cut for the first time since February. She doesn't seem to notice that hairdresser Elaine is wearing a visor, mask, apron and gloves. The fact that Mum's so calm prompts Andrew to be grateful that her dementia hasn't involved leaving the house at all hours or disturbing behaviour. It doesn't seem to cause her distress. It means that, a year since things took a turn for the worse, Mum's still living where she's always wanted to be - in her own home. Mum and Me: The Dementia Diary was originally broadcast on 成人快手 Radio Leeds.
