Classics with NOW - Mozart Symphony No 41 'Jupiter'
The first piece in our new series 'Classics with NOW' is Mozart鈥檚 Symphony No 41 in C major, K 551, 鈥楯upiter鈥�!
This recording is from a performance which took place in February 2015 at St David鈥檚 Hall, Cardiff, with conductor Thomas S酶nderg氓rd.
Mozart鈥檚 final three symphonies were all composed one month after each other in the summer of 1788. Symphony No 41 was his longest and last symphony, and was nicknamed 鈥楯upiter鈥� for its grand opening movement.
