Coronavirus: 'Today I became a doctor'
"Today I became a doctor. Graduation cancelled but I'm proud to qualify early in order to enter this profession at such an important time. I pay tribute to the 3 amazing doctors that recently passed away".
This tweet was written by Rania Ibrahim who, like many other medical students here in the UK, has been fast tracked so that she can begin working in the National Health Service in the battle against the coronavirus.
She says as she starts work she'll be thinking particularly of Dr Amged El-Hawrani and Dr Adil El Tayar - two British-Sudanese doctors who died of coronavirus in the UK.
