President Trump has confirmed that the leader of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Qasim al-Raymi, has been killed by the US military. Announcing the news, Donald Trump said al-Raymi's group committed unconscionable violence against civilians in Yemen and sought to conduct and inspire attacks against the US.
