Candice McDonald quit her job when she realised she wasn't earning enough money to pay rent or her bills. She used her allotment to grow food to feed her family. She also wanted to help her community, so when she started growing too much food in her allotment, she started sharing it amongst her neighbours and set up a community kitchen, which has grown and grown, and now helps 10 households.
