What鈥檚 wrong with Europe鈥檚 attitude to rape?
In most European countries, the law says rape must involve violence or intimidation - consent does not come into it.
A study by Amnesty International last year found that only eight out of 31 European countries have consent-based rape legislation in place - Sweden, the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, Germany, Cyprus, Iceland and Belgium.
The UN says it is time to ensure that sex without consent is a crime. But campaigners say it is not just laws that need to change - it is cultural beliefs too.
Europe correspondent Jean Mackenzie travelled across the continent to find out more.
