'Game changing' Ebola initiative

Congolese doctor, Richard Kojan - an intensive care specialist for the French non-governmental organisation Alima - has designed the Cube – a biosecure emergency treatment unit – after his experiences responding to the Ebola epidemic in west Africa in 2014-15, which killed more than 11,000 people. Cubes have played a part in reduced the mortality rate in the fight against Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the second-largest outbreak in the world. Dr Richard Kojan described the so-called Cube.
