2020: Africa's decade for trade
Trading under the new African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) will commence in July 2020 promising to open borders, cut tariffs and boost intra-African trade by more than 50%. Could this be Africa's decade for trade? Professor Raghuram Rajan of Chicago Booth School of Business and former governor of the Reserve Bank of India thinks so. He was talking to Ed Butler.
