Rohingya look for justice in Myanmar genocide hearings

The International Court of Justice in the Hague is to hear a case brought by The Gambia accusing Myanmar of genocide. The West African state is seeking emergency measures to stop Myanmar's continuing persecution of a Muslim minority, the Rohingya. Hundreds of thousands fled Myanmar in 2017 when the Burmese army launched a bloody campaign against them. Myanmar's de-facto leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, is in the Netherlands to lead the defence of her country. International lawyer Philippe Sands, who is one of the legal council for the Gambia, spoke to 成人快手 Newsday.
