What will Gotabaya Rajapaksa's rule mean for Sri Lanka?
A new Rajapaksa era is getting underway in Sri Lanka after Gotabaya Rajapaksa - the older brother of the country's former leader, Mahinda Rajapaksa - was declared the winner of Saturday's presidential election.
Votes appeared to be starkly divided between the Sinhala Buddhist majority and minority Tamil, Hindu and Muslim groups, raising fears about the future of reconciliation in a country that remains heavily polarised along ethnic and religious lines.
