‘Foreign players couldn’t believe our levels of drinking’

Recovering alcoholic Tony Adams has told ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 5 Live’s Hooked podcast that foreign footballers ‘couldn’t believe’ the levels of drinking in the English game when they arrived in the 1990s.

In the new episode, now available on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Sounds, the former Arsenal captain described how players such as Patrick Vieira and Emmanuel Petit, help change the mindset of players at Arsenal.
