Why is Twitter banning political advertising?
The founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, has announced that the social platform will stop carrying all political advertising. The policy comes in on 22 November, so will affect the UK general election and next year's US election. He said political ads over the internet could affect the lives of millions by spreading unchecked fake information.
