In 'The Humorist,' Soviet comedy is no joke
Despite the censorship of the Soviet Union, stand up comedians were wildly popular. Although not all jokes were allowed to reach the public. In his new film, The Humorist, Michael Idov, tells the story of a stand up comedian in Latvia in the 1980s.
