Muslims on Hajj pilgrimage face ‘extreme danger’ from rising temperatures
The annual pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the pillars of the faith and around two million pilgrims go to Saudia Arabia to perform the ritual. New research by US scientists suggests it may become hazardous to human health in the future though because of climate change.
