The language which courses through the veins of George Orwell’s ‘1984’ is fully embedded in society today. 70 years on since its publication, how much influence does the message behind the book still have? Gordon Brewer discusses with author and journalist, Dorian Lynskey, whose most recent publication ‘Ministry of Truth: A biography of 1984’ which locates the routes of the dystopian novel, and Professor Jean Seaton from the Orwell Foundation.
