Pupils at Scotland captain Rachel Corsie鈥檚 former school have been telling 5 Live how the women鈥檚 team have 鈥渃ome on leaps and bounds鈥� and 鈥渃reated history鈥�.

It鈥檚 the first time Scotland have qualified for a Women鈥檚 World Cup, and they鈥檙e in the same group as England.

Bethany, aged 15, said Rachel Corsie 鈥済ave me some advice on how to be a really good captain鈥�.

鈥淪he鈥檚 just got a really good attitude towards the game and towards all of her other players.鈥�

Brody,13, said women 鈥渘ever get a lot of support by people and they should just get as much as men鈥�.
