‘Scotland’s Rachel Corsie taught me how to be a good captain’
Pupils at Scotland captain Rachel Corsie’s former school have been telling 5 Live how the women’s team have “come on leaps and bounds” and “created history”.
It’s the first time Scotland have qualified for a Women’s World Cup, and they’re in the same group as England.
Bethany, aged 15, said Rachel Corsie “gave me some advice on how to be a really good captain”.
“She’s just got a really good attitude towards the game and towards all of her other players.”
Brody,13, said women “never get a lot of support by people and they should just get as much as men”.
