Climate protest takes over central London

Climate change protestors have brought parts of London to a halt for the fourth straight day.

The Extinction Rebellion is a loosely-organised group of activists using what they call 鈥渘on-violent civil disobedience鈥 to cause economic disruption in order to bring attention to their cause. They're demanding the declaration of a climate emergency, net zero emissions by 2025 and a UK citizens' assembly to supervise it all.

More than 460 people have been arrested since Monday, including three charged with gluing themselves to a train. But how effective are such disruptive protests in galvanizing public support and changing policies? The 成人快手's Nigel Cassidy visited the protest's front lines to find out.
