'...I'm so proud of how the side played...' the Jersey Reds Women beat the league leaders to go top of Women's NC 2
It was billed as the biggest match of the season for the Jersey Reds Women.
The side started the day in second - but had a chance to knock off league-leaders Amesbury in Women's NC 2 at St Peter this lunchtime, and gain a measure of revenge for their loss earlier in the season to the same team.
Well, the Reds ran rampant - earning a comprehensive 34-12 victory over the visitors from the UK to go to the top of the table.
And afterwards, Sportscene's Richard Collinson spoke with player Sophie Lee, team manager James Riley, captain Lauren Lowe and coaches George Eastwell and Conor Joyce.
