From the Archives - Harry Carpenter
It's time to take another trip into our archives - and play you one of those newly-rediscovered Sportscene interviews we've stumbled upon.
They've been sitting, gathering dust in Richard Collinson's attic - with some of them not being heard for more than a quarter-of-a-century. But on these reel-to-reel tapes are little bits of sporting history.
So here's an interview Rich did with the 成人快手's legendary boxing commentator Harry Carpenter back in 1994 on a visit to the Channel Islands - where he explained the unusual way he got into broadcasting in the first place.
