'Period parties break the taboo around menstruation'
There are many reasons to have a party, but a new trend from the US is hoping to help break the 'taboo' around periods.
Alice Olsson translated the book ‘It’s Only Blood: Shattering the Taboo of Menstruation‘ into English.
She said: “I think the idea of having a party is an interesting concept… you should to be open about menstruation with your child."
