Whisper it quietly, but the Jersey Reds headed into Saturday with an unwelcome statistic gnawing away at them.

After successive defeats to London Irish and the Cornish Pirates, anything less than a win against London Scottish would represent their third loss in a row - the first time that's happened since September of 2018.

Unfortunately for Reds fans, a loss is exactly what happened - as they were beaten 24-14 by the visitors.
