Plans to add a loo to clubhouse at Bridport tennis club set to go down the pan
Members want to build a minor extension to the clubhouse with a changing room and a toilet facility to meet a required Lawn Tennis Association standard.
It will be raised above ground level but the Environment Agency has objected. It says the proposal is in a flood zone close to the River Brit which will increase the flooding risk.
Bridport Tennis Club chairman Gerry Dudgeon is bewildered by the EA stance and has contacted West Dorset MP Sir Oliver Letwin for advice.
