The past 12 months has seen the humanitarian crises in Syria and Yemen worsen to unimaginable depths while the international community looks on, apparently unable to bring about lasting settlement in either conflict. Rosemary Hollis, Professor of Middle East Policy Studies at City University London; Omar Imady, Deputy Director of the Centre for Syrian Studies at St Andrews University, and Dr Tom Clonan, a military analyst, discuss what next for the Middle East in the next 12 months and the prospect for peace.
