China lands mission on far side of the moon
China says it has successfully landed a robotic spacecraft on the far side of the Moon, the first ever such landing. It is carrying instruments to characterise the region's geology, as well as a biological experiment.
Chinese state media called the landing "a major milestone in space exploration", but very few details about the mission have been released.
John Sudworth - the 成人快手's correspondent in Beijing - joined Newsday's Bola Mosuro to shed some light on the news.
