Paul Makonda, the regional commissioner of Tanzania's biggest city Dar es Salaam, has appeared in a video asking people there to denounce homosexuals.

Dennis Nzioka - an LGBTQ rights activist based in neighbouring Kenya - told us what he makes of the politician's comments.
