Foden may question future after Sancho England call-up β Honigstein
Journalist Rafa Honigstein says Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden will be wondering what might have been following Gareth Southgateβs decision to name Jadon Sancho in the latest England squad.
Sancho made the decision to leave Manchester City last summer in search of regular first-team football at Borussia Dortmund.
The 18-year-old has assisted in five league goals for Dortmund this season as he has helped them top the Bundesliga after six games.
Speaking to the ³ΙΘΛΏμΚΦ Euro Leagues Football Show, Honigstein says Sanchoβs call-up may see young English talent like Foden, 18, choose to put βtheir ego asideβ and move abroad in pursuit of regular game time.
