'... it's amazing how far we've come ...' - local surf champion Arlene Maltman on equal pay on the WSL Tour from 2019
The World Surf League made news earlier this week by an announcing equal prize money for men and women.
It comes into force next year - and makes it the first U.S.-based global sports league to implement pay parity at its events.
Arlene Maltman is a former surf champion from Jersey - and has been talking to Sportscene's Carrie Cooper.
