A Sportscene Special - Jersey football legend Ricky Weir shares an hour of music and memories
He first kicked a football at the tender age of five - and since then, it's become an integral part of Ricky Weir's life.
He's played more than a thousand competitive matches - and scored over six hundred goals before retiring at the age of 36. Since hanging up his boots, he's held the top job at the Jersey FA - and even set up a charity dedicated to improving the lives of young people in Africa on and off the field.
For this special programme, Sportscene's Sarah Bailey sat down with Ricky to talk all things football and life - on a musical trip down memory lane.
(NB: For rights reasons, the music choices have been shortened in this version of the programme.)
