Hughton - My success is down to hard work
Brighton manager Chris Hughton says his achievements in football are down to hard work, not because of his ethnic background. He does, however, hail recent efforts to get more BAME coaches involved in the sport. 鈥淭he FA making the decision that there will be a black and ethnic coach involved at every level of national football I think is a plus.鈥 But the coach insists that the achievements of the individual is the main criteria to succeed in the football industry: 鈥渦ltimately anybody in a position that they鈥檙e striving to get to, a managerial position, a coaching position, it has to be down always to the value of the quality that they have.鈥
